Probably the nicest accommodation I've stayed in in ten years of renting in the Alps. The directions you sent were easy to follow, our first impressions of the apartment were clean, spacious lovely and cosy and better than expected. We all really enjoyed our holiday, we found Les Carroz very family friendly and plenty to do. There were lots of restaurants to choose from and a good few bars that had friendly atmosphere. The skiing was great and had many runs to cater for all levels. There was easy access via the ski bus or parking at the base of the slopes. The apartment had everything we wanted, it was warm and comfortable, had great views, and a pleasure to return to after a hard days skiing, and we would definately recommend it to others. We had a lovely holiday, your apartment was well equipped, warm and cosy and in a nice and quiet location, but at the same time it was easy to catch ski bus or drive to telecabine. Wow what a Christmas, the best ever! Thank you so much for letting your beautiful cosy apartment to us, with its lovely furnishings and decor which is so apt for the area giving a real alpine feel and also helped make it so special. It was a pleasure to unlock the door at the end of each days skiing. Your apartment is in a lovely quiet location with stunning views, and a 5 min walk to the village and the restaurants, as you said "perfect for loosening up those tired leg muscles". Les Carroz is such a lovely place with its gorgeous shops and boutiques. The skiing was awesome, perfect conditions with blue skies, sunshine and soft white powdery snow, so many runs to choose from. We had a great week and found the apartment comfortable and cosy. It was a good spot for a family with young children. The pool complex nearby was excellent, although the town was very quiet in mid June. I would recommend the apartment to anyone; Very Cosy! The furniture and décor were beautiful. The view from the Balcony was lovely too; great for breakfasts of warm baguettes! We would stay again, but probably in July/August during the high season. It was our first proper holiday with our 8 month baby; the apartment with its DVD library was a very comfortable place to spend 'nights in'. Everything was very convenient as a result of the very efficient bus service. We used La Souris Verte creche for child care several mornings which was five minutes walk away and provided good care for our baby). Restaurants were very friendly and accommodating. We did have some concerns about what we had let ourselves in for in taking such a young child on such a holiday but the apartment, your help with organising linen, and the resort made everything very straightforward. A friend who came with us said that it was the most relaxing week's skiing that he'd had and asked to pass on his thanks. Once again I would like to thank you for letting us use your apartment and would recommend it to anyone considering a ski trip to the area. The apartment was superb, very well equipped, and the views are stunning. It was fascinating just watching the effects of the weather changes on the mountains throughout the day. The setting is so peaceful and relaxing, yet so close to fantastic leisure facilities and a short stroll to the shops. We would highly recommend a summer break at the apartment. I would recommend Les Carroz as a great ski resort, particularly suited to beginners like us! A huge ski area with slopes for all standards. The village is charming with all the facilities you need. We have had a great holiday and your lovely apartment has made our first ever Christmas away from home a very pleasant experience. We have just returned from an excellent summer holiday in your lovely apartment. We found the apartment extremely comfortable. The unrivaled views and total peace far outweighed our expections. A wonderful Half-Term ski-ing. Cosy apartment (Comfy beds!). Great for easy quick access to slopes-quite effortless - Ski Locker by front door, free bus practically on doorstop, short journey to telecabine (not much walking, great for tired children!). The apartment location is excellent, quiet and peaceful (with views of the slopes). The village amenities are all at hand, easily reached by foot or free bus. The ski-ing area is amazing with access to the Grand Massif and Flaine. We returned home thoroughly exhausted-never skied so much in one week! Jayne, Chelmsford. 2004
